Awareness

Uplifting each others voices.

Through our programs, we raise collective awareness of the variety of people, businesses, organizations, and cultures that share and contribute to our communities. Collective awareness is crucial to building connections and trust across differences.  Awareness building is incorporated into everything we do, but especially in our community resource fairs, intercultural art exhibits, and our Culture Explorers Camp.

Community Resource Fairs

Our Community Resource Fairs become a center point for neighbors to connect with public and private organizations that provide crucial basic necessities, such as housing, healthcare, child care, legal support, food, transportation, education, and much more.

Once a year, we host a Holiday Bazaar and Resource Fair where all kids get a present and a picture with Santa! Follow our social media pages and subscribe to our newsletter to receive updates on upcoming events.

Intercultural Art Initiatives

Art is the means by which we express culture, stories, and complex ideas and emotions. In our intercultural art initiatives, we not only uplift voices of artists from a variety of backgrounds within our communities, but we also have them create work in conversation with each other, creating new meaning, deeper understanding, and culture.

Culture Explorers Camp

Kids play, dance, and learn about the many people and cultures of the world at our Culture Explorers Camp! Representatives of global cultures, many of which are also their neighbors, visit our campers to introduce them to their cultures through food, music, crafts, and dance.
