IN-NOW is a statewide, coordinated infrastructure that supports social, civic, and economic integration through education, health, community engagement, leadership pathways, and access to opportunity.
Rather than approaching integration as a single issue, IN-NOW advances an ecosystem model in which members work together around a shared goal: making Indiana a place where newcomers can thrive, contribute, and belong.

IN-NOW is not a program, it is a network. Is a growing coalition of leaders working together to build stronger, more connected communities across the state.
Why it matters
Welcoming communities do not happen by accident. They are built when employers, faith communities, nonprofits, local leaders, educators, and residents work together instead of in isolation.
A coalition model matters because the challenges newcomers face are interconnected: belonging, work, housing, legal navigation, language access, and community trust all shape long-term integration.
On July 17, 2025 we launched the Indiana Network of Welcomers (IN-NOW) with over 60 leaders across sectors. The launching was hosted by Patchwork Indy and the University of Indianapolis Center for Service-Learning & Community Engagement, with special thanks to our sponsor, Welcome.US.
